ABOUT
Sofia Kunz is an Argentine filmmaker and actor.
She split her time between Argentina and California which made her privy to the distinct cultures that she was being raised in. It was this back and forth that sparked her interest in interpersonal and intercultural communication. Dinner’s at home were always energetic and it was here where she would be captured by her father’s immeasurable style at story telling. Both these instances a catalyst to her career in filmmaking.
Last year, her short film, co-directed and co-produced with Annabella Fazio, previewed at the Cannes Film Festival Court Metrage.
Filmmaking is the chance to connect with an audience on stories that need to be told. Passionate about elevating female filmmaking she hopes to prioritize the importance of female collaboration in an industry that can so often divide.
